So The Handsome Captain™ and I returned from Sculpture Key West’s Ribbon Cutting champagne toast (provided by The Key West Food and Wine Festival) and were hungry.

Tavern N Town at Marriott Beachside

Published by Miss Prissy on December 5th, 2012 - in Restaurant Reviews
This gem of a restaurant, housed inside the Marriott Beachside Hotel, is a fav among both visitors and locals.   Although we don’t get there as often as we’d like, we definitely agree with lots of fellow locals.  Tavern N Town is the real deal.

Cuban Coffee Queen

First off, I hope you all forgive The Priss.

I’ve been jumping all over the place, from Key West to Fort Myers to The Hamptons, back to Key West, back to Fort Myers, back to Key West, to our wedding festivities, to our trip, and back to Key West.  Yes, I’ll be blogging the honeymoon in San Francisco and wine country.  However, for a second, I need to get the readers back to the beauty that is Key West…

But first, check out the shoes!  Some women practice walking in heels…I had to practice walking in flats so that I could maneuver downhill in San Francisco.  So practice I did in late August when The Handsome Captain™ and I met our friend Eddie for breakfast at Cuban Coffee Queen.

Opened since 2009, this little shack caught on quickly among locals and tourists.  I know I’ve sent more than a few visitors there…it’s that good.  It remains on of my friend Wayne’s favorite spots on the island.
