KWFWF: Blind Cabernet Tasting, Duval Uncorked, Seafood Shakedown and I Need A Liver Transplant!

So it was early Saturday afternoon and we were very excited to have obtained the last two tickets to “The Blind Leading The Blind Cabernet Tasting” just a couple days prior.  I was teased mercilessly by Steve Calderwood and TraceyG because I thought we were going to be blindfolded!  Well, look at the image used by the festival!  Why would I not think so?  Alas, the *wine* was going to be paper-bagged while we were NOT going to be blindfolded.  Whatever, at least Prissy didn’t have to worry about her hair.

KWFWF, Part 2:”Bottles & Busts” Historical Sculpture Garden Grand Tasting/”Let Them EAT Cake”

It was Friday night at The Key West Food & Wine Festival, to which we all looked extremely forward.  This year’s Grand Tasting was entitled “Bottles & Busts”

and took place at Mallory Square’s Historical Sculpture Garden.  Although I do love all the events, there is something special about the Grand Tasting.  We’ve experienced them previously at Truman Little White House and Key West Aquarium.  Both wonderful.

Key West Food & Wine Festival, Part 1: At The Copa…Copa Cabana (Beach Party)

Did a year really pass so quickly?  I guess it did, and it was a pretty full year for The Priss.  Be that as it may, here we are again back at The Key West Food & Wine Festival’s kick-off.

In many attempts to regenerate new liver tissue, I stopped drinking wine.  And then it was Thanksgiving and visiting with The Handsome Captain’s daddy.  And right after, I stopped drinking wine.  Then it was Lush Bar’s Wine & Chocolate Pairing.   And right after, I stopped drinking wine.

Then, it was the Christmas season and countless holiday parties.  And visitors.  And wine tastings.  And right after, I stopped drinking wine.  And then it was New Year’s Eve.  And right after, I stopped drinking wine.
