Honeymoon, Part 2: Napa Day 1, “Pinch Me, I’m Dreaming” (Ouch!)

Published by Miss Prissy on October 30th, 2012 - in Out & About

Monday started with a kinda sorta dramatic drive out of San Francisco in our “family car” (ugh!).

It was with every ounce of self-control I had to not smash the GPS and throw it out the window when she just refused to “catch up” to our massive speed of 15mph.  However miraculous, we did make the correct turns and off to Napa we drove.

Cuban Coffee Queen

First off, I hope you all forgive The Priss.

I’ve been jumping all over the place, from Key West to Fort Myers to The Hamptons, back to Key West, back to Fort Myers, back to Key West, to our wedding festivities, to our trip, and back to Key West.  Yes, I’ll be blogging the honeymoon in San Francisco and wine country.  However, for a second, I need to get the readers back to the beauty that is Key West…

But first, check out the shoes!  Some women practice walking in heels…I had to practice walking in flats so that I could maneuver downhill in San Francisco.  So practice I did in late August when The Handsome Captain™ and I met our friend Eddie for breakfast at Cuban Coffee Queen.

Opened since 2009, this little shack caught on quickly among locals and tourists.  I know I’ve sent more than a few visitors there…it’s that good.  It remains on of my friend Wayne’s favorite spots on the island.
