So despite the fact that our dogs made the St. Patrick’s Day Bar Stroll a “weekend pick” AND yes, it’s to benefit two worthwhile charities…it’s just not my scene.
Instead, there was an appointment |
with Miss Charlene at Lady Nails and a cup of Vietnamese coffee with my name on it. Very few things make Priss happier than pampering.
Most think pampering and St. Patrick’s Day do NOT coincide with Duval Street, Key West. They’ve never heard of Lush Key West at The Green Pineapple.
When pampering involves champagne, chocolate, and coffee…well, that’s hitting paydirt. Enter Mark Certonio, of Lush Key West at The Green Pineapple. Here is the image he uploaded to Facebook–two Italians sipping (green) Spanish champagne during an Irish holiday.
The champagne was Cava, from Spain with some green food coloring to celebrate the season. I know some think it’s gross, but what do I care? It tasted the same
Chocolate? Pour moi? Fine, it wasn’t *just* for me…but it was FAB-ULOUS!
The chocolate was all amazing AND organic; I knew I’d be purchasing several bars by the time I left.
As long as I’m eating quality chocolate…why stop now?
Fresh truffles made with coconut oil. Did I have any? What do you think? If I EVER turn down quality chocolate, please take my temperature and if necessary, take me to the hospital because there’s definitely something wrong.
And this is my lifeblood…
Ohhhhhhh yeahhhhhhhh…I may have been a relative late bloomer in my affection for coffee at age 30, but once I got there I never looked back. I’m not a decaf girl…I fail to see the point in it. This was the Solstice Blend with frothed almond milk. Super yummy…so much so that I had two cups. That is in addition to the Vietnamese coffee I had at the nail salon…which was in addition to the two I had at home. It’s an addiction that I embrace
Alas though, after chatting endlessly with Mark, the awesome staff at The Green Pineapple, and other customers, it was time to leave and face outside Duval Street. First though, I had to cash out.
If my co-workers are reading…this is what I’m bringing on Monday. We are a department of accountants who all enjoy chocolate…make that “good chocolate”.
Ah so maybe I’m not leaving quite yet…a hand massage with organic products? Count me in with the lovely Lori (who also works at Prana Spa).
Great products that made my hands silky smooth!
Champagne…chocolate…coffee…quality pampering products…or…
THIS
And this wasn’t even close to how “wall-to-wall” it really was. This was only Upper Duval. I understand charity and good causes and I’m very glad this bar stroll money went to two good ones. However, I’d rather write a check and get nothing in return than endure this. Slainte!
